THERMOFAB CELEBRATES 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH BEST OF SHOW WIN
Two TINA Awards go to ThermoFab at Thermoforming Winter Conference
March 8, 2007, Shirley, MA: ThermoFab, a Shirley, MA-based company that
manufactures high quality plastic enclosures for the medical, industrial
and computer industries was awarded two TINA Awards for products
manufactured for their customer, Hi-Tech. The TINA awards were given at
the Thermoforming Institute's (TI) 26 Annual Winter Conference being held
this week in Palm Beach, FL.
The following awards were received on behalf of Hi-Tech, a new customer of
ThermoFab, located in (Clearwater, FL):
- Best Heavy Gauge Thermoforming Entry: Hi-Tech Lok 'n Lite Expandable Electronic Display
- Best in Show: Hi-Tech Lok 'n Lite Expandable Electronic Display
These awards highlight a progression in the state-of-the art of the thermoforming
process. Entries were judged on the innovative use of process, design, materials and
tooling in creating the final product. The Best of Show award was determined by the
entry that received the highest number of votes from all entry categories combined.
"The Tina Awards are especially meaningful to me since they are voted on by
